My work is autobiographical, inspired by my daily life, my experiences, my questions; it reflects these captured moments that remain frozen in my memory. During my encounters, I sometimes become the vector for expressing the emotions of others, which I try to transcribe as best I can in my paintings. My works then become the fruit of sharing. When the image is in memory, everything then consists in transcribing as well as possible the atmosphere that emanates from the moment: remove certain contours, interpret the light to keep only the essential. Because in the end, the challenge is there, to get as close as possible to the original emotion. A research that is based on elements that may seem contradictory: where my technique consists of a realistic rendering, or at least of transcribing a certain reality, it must express the impalpable.
